The teenager was allegedly involved in a heated argument with another teenager when a fight broke out and both teenagers suffered stab wounds.
An unnamed friend of the deceased who spoke about him said: ‘He was so full of life and had a cheeky smile and would give you the tightest hug. He wanted to do good things and show the world he was someone special.’
UK police officers have arrested and charged a 19-year old resident of Wood Green, Jaydee Dorsett, with Ekpaloba’s murder.
A post-mortem examination was immediately conducted on the deceased, which revealed the cause of his death to be shock, haemorrhage and a stab wound to the chest.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command in the UK have reportedly started investigating the case.
