The president’s convoy was attacked by youths at a PDP rally at Bauchi state yesterday 22nd, January 2015. Six of the president’s Department of State Security (DSS) agents attached to his security detail in Bauchi have been hospitalized as a result of the attack on the President.
Channels TV reports that the youths were seen throwing stones, sachet water and slippers at the president’s convoy. The attack then became worse as the last car which was carrying the 6 DSS officials was attacked with big stones, seriously injuring 6 DSS agents. They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
