Chris Brown announced to fans on Twitter that he had to cancel tour dates in Canada because the country denied him entry.
"Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto," Breezy wrote in the tweeted-then-deleted posts. "The good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!"
The Grammy-winning R&B singer was scheduled to perform at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Tuesday and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Wednesday night
Nicole Perna, a spokeswoman for Brown, confirmed Canadian immigration officials denied him entry and reportedly said Brown can apply to return at a later date and plans to do so.
Live Nation also said in a statement that "due to immigration issues" the shows have been canceled and refunds are available at the point of purchase. E! News has reached out to Brown's rep and Live Nation for comment.
