President Goodluck Jonathan said at the campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Saturday that he is going to empower and encourage more youth to be great leaders through youth-oriented programmes if re-elected for the second term.
According to the Premium Times, Jonathan said his administration recognised the creative ability of the youth, especially in sports and the entertainment industry, which must be encouraged and appreciated.
“The YouWIN and agricultural programmes of this administration are all geared towards making our talented youth young millionaires”, he said.
He said his administration also recognised the value of education in preparing the youth for the future hence had established 12 conventional and two specialised universities in the last six years.
He called on Imo sons and daughters to vote massively for the PDP in all the political positions. Details on Premium Times
